Kathryn Hulmes

Associate in the Private Client Litigation Team

What does your job involve?

I am an Associate Solicitor in the Private Client Litigation Department, specialising in Family Law.  My job involves helping people who are going through divorce; cohabitation disputes; domestic violence and issues regarding children.

I enjoy the diversity of my role and get an incredible sense of achievement when I see a positive change in people’s lives, having helped and supported them throughout dealing with the matter from beginning to conclusion.

What do you enjoy most about working for Rawlison Butler?

The Firm nurtures career development, supporting individuals in achieving their goals, whilst also encouraging team work.  I particularly enjoy marketing and networking, which is something that the Firm encourages.

If I weren’t a Solicitor I’d probably be…

If I weren’t a Solicitor, I would probably like to work in a large corporate organisation dealing with branding and marketing. Combining creativity within a commercial environment is something that I would enjoy.

If you could invite 3 famous people to dinner (dead or alive), who would they be and why?

Lord Alan Sugar – I’m fascinated by his business acumen and entrepreneurial approach to business.

Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber – I play the violin, piano and sing. I have always enjoyed musical theatre and I think that Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical wizardry is outstanding.

Daniel Craig – I would have to invite Daniel Craig because of course you could not throw a dinner party and not invite James Bond!
