What does your job involve?
I am a partner in the Real Estate Team specialising in Residential Development. The day to day role involves acting for developers in acquiring land to build flats and houses or to trade to other builders.
What do you enjoy most about working for Rawlison Butler?
I have been here since 1991 so something must be right!! The Firm has always maintained a friendly open door policy and a willingness to offer support when needed. The firm was the first major firm to have its commercial head office in Crawley which has changed immeasurably as a place of business during my time here.

If I hadn't become a lawyer, in my dreams I would have played sport at the top level! In the real world I would probably have joined the armed forces.
If you could invite 3 famous people to dinner (dead or alive), who would they be and why?
This was a really tricky question and I would definitely need more than one dinner! My first guest would be any pharaoh that oversaw the building of the pyramids so that I could finally explain to my children how they were built. The second and third would be Charles Darwin and David Attenborough - imagine the conversation!
