Amaris Wiles
Former Trainee, now Assistant Solicitor in the Real Estate Team
What does your job involve?
Being a Trainee Solicitor I hadthe opportunity to sit in a number of departments including Real Estate, Corporate and Property Litigation. My job involved assisting fee earners with their files, attending client meetings, research, drafting reports and transactional documents ranging from leases to share purchase agreements and learning something new every day.
What do you enjoy most about working for Rawlison Butler?
Working with a great team in a challenging and dedicated environment, the quality and variety of work undertaken and being able to have a life outside work.
If I weren't a Solicitor I'd probably be…
... a professor of history specialising in World War II politics.
If you could invite three famous people to dinner (dead or alive) who would they be and why?
Richard Armitage - Spooks / Robin Hood / a giant banana apparently… a great actor and it does no harm that he looks good too.
Winston Churchill - I spent a whole year studying his politics during my history degree, it would be great if he could clear a couple of things up for me.
Cleopatra - the last Pharaoh of Egypt who probably has a good story or two to tell about Julius Caesar and Marc Anthony.
