Expertise 

I have experience in a variety of commercial and residential property litigation matters including 1954 Act lease renewals, dilapidations, rent reviews, recovery of rent arrears, claims for possession, dealing with breaches of covenant and easement, adverse possession, boundary disputes and residential leasehold enfranchisement/right to manage.

Profile

Prior to joining Rawlison Butler LLP, I trained and worked in central London. Before taking up a career in Law, I gained a masters degree in Chemistry which included a year working in industry as a Pharmaceuticals Research Chemist. I completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at The College of Law in Guildford.

I like to tend to my garden, attempt a round of golf and run.

How do you contribute to our Corporate Social Responsibility?

I actively support the firm’s charitable fundraising activities in support of St Catherine’s Hospice.

What has been the most memorable or challenging case for you?

Leading a five day High Court trial regarding a dispute over an easement to drain water – I learnt a lot about water drainage systems!

What I do to get myself thinking creatively

I sit out in the sun and read a good novel.
