Expertise

I work in the Commercial Disputes Team, dealing with a variety of disputes including general breach of contract and debt recovery work.

Profile

I graduated from the University of Surrey with a law degree in 2007 and subsequently completed my professional studies at the College of Law in Guildford with a Distinction. I joined Rawlison Butler LLP in September 2008 as a trainee solicitor. After successfully completing my training contract, I qualified as an assistant solicitor in the Commercial Disputes Team in September 2010.

Publications

I regularly write articles for our Solve-IT newsletter and the website.

In my spare time …

I can either be found in the gym or enjoying good food and good company with friends and family. I like to unwind in the evenings by losing myself in a book or watching a film.

What I said when I was asked …

How do you contribute to our Corporate Social Responsibility?

I actively support the firm’s charitable endeavours, including donating cakes for the various cake sales held by the firm’s Sports and Social Committee and making monetary contributions.

What is your strongest characteristic - how your colleagues describe you

Conscientious, friendly and always willing to help.

What I do to get myself thinking creatively

When I am trying to come up with creative solutions, I take a step back from the problem to gain a sense of perspective. Also I always find it helpful to talk matters over with a colleague.
