I specialise in all aspects of residential conveyancing whether this is the purchase of your first home, a move upmarket or an investment purchase. I regularly deal with freehold and leasehold properties, extensions of leases and transfers of equity.
Profile
I studied English and French law at Warwick University spending a year at Bordeaux University. After law school I returned to Sussex training as a solicitor with my Father’s firm and working as a conveyancing solicitor there until his retirement. I joined Rawlison Butler in 2006.
In my spare time …
I enjoy cooking cakes and biscuits with my two children, their gingerbread men being a particular favourite with my secretary! I am also an active member of the fundraising committee for my daughter’s nursery.

What has been the most memorable or challenging deal/case for you?
When I was a trainee solicitor, I made use of my rusty German A Level to uncover over a million pounds in a Swiss bank account held by one of our deceased clients.
What is your strongest characteristic - how your colleagues describe you?
A good sense of humour.
