Leading South-East business law firm Rawlison Butler LLP has advised Eezehaul, one of the South East’s leading logisitics providers on the sale of its overnight parcel delivery division that was a member of the APC overnight parcel network.

Eezehaul is an established client of the firm. The sale of the overnight division will allow the management of Eezehaul to focus more on developing the company’s core businesses, being pallet distribution and provision of storage solutions.

Andrew Hawkins (Corporate Associate) and Tim Sadka (Head of Corporate) led the RB team from Heads of Agreement through to a successful completion.

Jane Jones, Finance Director at Eezehaul, commented “The technical and legal considerations of selling one part of a multi service business are complex. Thanks to the experience and commercial awareness of Tim Sadka and Andrew Hawkins at Rawlison Butler, we were able to navigate our way through the sale process without incident and in a relatively short timescale. In particular, they were very responsive and able to add value in terms of the future considerations of the deal that for us, are paramount for Eezehaul’s continued successful growth strategy within the more complex supply chain and warehousing markets.

Andrew Hawkins was always available to discuss the fine points of the deal and put forward sound suggestions to ensure a smooth process.  Our thanks go to Andrew and his colleagues for their commitment to the transaction that culminated with a successful conclusion to the satisfaction of all parties involved.”

Commenting on the transaction, Tim Sadka, said: “We are delighted to have advised Eezehaul on the sale of its APC overnight division.  Working with Mark and Jane, we were able to ensure it was a relatively smooth and painless transaction that meant the management team was able to continue devoting the majority of its time and attention to operational matters in this extremely busy period for the company.”
