Training and events on employment law
Our experience shows that managers who are trained in essential areas of employment law can help reduce the risk of claims by employees. We regularly provide in-house training for employers, always delivered in a practical and interactive format. We also provide more specialist training for HR departments and run a number of seminars and events throughout the year.
What we do
We recognise that if managers understand some key areas of employment law and HR, the way they deal with disputes and people issues leaves the employer far less exposed to grievances and claims in the Employment Tribunal. We provide training that we consider essential for any manager, such as handling a disciplinary investigation, conducting a disciplinary hearing or a grievance, hearing an appeal, or how to respond to a complaint of harassment.
We also understand the importance of HR professionals keeping up to date with employment so we regularly provide in-house training to HR departments. We run a series of events throughout the year for managers and HR professionals aimed at keeping them up to date with the very latest developments in employment law, policy and practice.
