Contracts of employment and staff handbooks
A well drafted contract of employment and a comprehensive handbook of policies can reduce the risk of litigation and help you to deal with employees exactly the way you want to.
What we do
Employment law changes constantly and so it is important that you have contracts of employment for your employees and a set of policies and procedures setting out the standards of behaviour and conduct you want to see. We work closely with our clients to understand their business so that we can draft contracts and policies that meet their requirements. Well drafted contracts of employment and a comprehensive set of policies can significantly reduce employee disputes and the chances of legal claims.
We usually advise our clients to keep their contracts under review every year or two so that they are kept up to date with the many changes in employment law. We often review contracts and advise changes. Importantly, however, where there are changes that may affect our clients, we let them know about developments so that we can help them keep ahead of the game.
