The New Equality Act 2010
29 September 2010A half day employment seminar on the new laws coming into force from October 2010. With guest speaker Dianah Worman, OBE - Adviser on Diversity, CIPD The Equality Act 2010, which received Royal Assent on 8 April this year, represents the biggest shake up of discrimination law for many years. The Act consolidates all the different strands of discrimination law into one Act whilst introducing new terminology, definitions and new rights for employees. It is vital for all employers to be aware of the changes the Act will introduce and how it will affect them, including the changes that will be needed to existing policies and procedures. This seminar aims to ensure that you are ready and fully prepared for the new laws when they come into force.
