Digby Armstrong

  Digby Armstrong

Digby was elected Senior Partner in 2007 having been a long standing and leading partner in the firm for many years. He is head of the firm’s Real Estate department and specialises in all aspects of commercial property work. He has an enviable reputation for turning transactions around quickly and this is enhanced by his commitment to clients and his ability to find practical solutions to challenging problems. His clients number not only prominent local businessmen and landowners, but also national and international household names.

When not involved in professional work, Digby plays a full part in the local business community. He is involved in local charities and business organisations chairing a number of committees. Out of the office, he is very much a family man with an interest in literature and the theatre, a MCC member and enjoys playing tennis and participating in water sports.

Andy King
  Andy King

Andy has devoted his entire legal career to date with RB and heads up the Residential Development Group. Qualifying into the Firm in 1993 Andy has since specialised in residential development work and acts for a broad range of clients ranging from owner managed businesses to regional subsidiaries of national housebuilders.

He deals with all aspects of the residential development process and can assist with any type of transaction from a straightforward unconditional purchase to a complex joint venture or collaboration arrangement.

Andy believes in the old maxim of "work hard and play hard" and has over the years built up a good relationship with his developer clients. He spends his spare time following all sports, (sadly these days from the comfort of his armchair) but in particular Rugby and the fortunes of his Wasps and England playing brother, Alex King.

  Nick Pentecost

Nick obtained his law degree at Nottingham Trent University and joined Rawlison Butler as a trainee in 1995. Nick qualified in 1997 and was appointed as a partner in 2003.

On qualification Nick joined the commercial property team in Crawley, assisting in landlord and tenant matters. Over the years, Nick's workload has shifted from pure landlord and tenant matters and Nick now specialises in residential development work, acting for a number of major developer clients on site acquisitions, set-ups and disposals. Nick has found his strong background in landlord and tenant matters invaluable in providing a comprehensive service to the firm's clients.

Recent transactions include the acquisition of part of a BT Telephone Exchange in Surrey, the acquisition of the leasehold and freehold interests in a block of flats in Kent and the disposal of a number of freehold reversionary interests around the South-East and London.

Away from the office Nick is a keen footballer, playing for Old Dorkinian Football Club. Nick also enjoys snowboarding whenever possible.
