| Tony started his legal career as a barrister, qualifying in 1995, and practiced at the Bar for a number of years before joining Rawlison Butler in 2002. He became a partner in 2004 and now heads the firm’s Employment Group, which is recognised in Chambers 2007 as “easy to deal with,” and “does not tie you up with jargon.”
Tony is recommended in Legal 500 and recognised as a leading employment lawyer in Chambers 2007 which states that he provides clients with “excellent, friendly, pragmatic, customer-focused advice; he gets to grips with problems and takes the time to look at them from a business perspective.”
A regular contributor of articles to legal publications, Tony is often invited to speak on employment law issues at events throughout the UK as well as leading the firm’s successful seminar and workshop programme. He is an experienced advocate with rights of audience in all courts and tribunals and is therefore able to offer clients a seamless service from first point of contact to an Employment Tribunal or Court (including Higher Courts), if required. Tony is also the partner responsible for business development within the firm.
