The Family Team acts for individuals in all aspects of family life, whether the parties are married, in a civil partnership, or co-habitees. We fully understand that these matters need to be dealt with sensitively and efficiently, at what can be a very anxious time for the client, and the Team has significant experience in dealing with such matters in a sympathetic and supportive way.

Our substantial expertise in dealing with issues relating to individuals and families is reflected in the diverse client base that we service, from high net worth individuals with substantial assets both at home and abroad, to plcs and multinationals. The strength of our Corporate, Property, Tax and Trust Departments ensures that specialist advice is available when addressing such issues.

The Team has extensive experience in relation to children matters including residence and contact disputes, shared residence arrangements, issues over schooling and medical issues or whether a parent should be allowed to move abroad with the children.

As members of Resolution (formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association) we recognise that mediation is a valuable alternative to Court based litigation and offer a full mediation service in an informal and relaxed setting.
